DESIGN CRITERIA - OKA standard and supersize U-Drains are designed in accordance with BS 8110 : 1985 and based on the following types of loading condition :
Type 1 : UDL of 5 kN/m2 behind the wall
Type 2 : Surcharge of 600mm at the back of the wall (see figure)  - Minimum cover Standard = 20 mm
- Concrete grade shall be 40 N/mm2
- Bulk density of soil backfill to be 1760 kg/m3
- Angle of internal friction of soil back fill to be 30o
